[Meme] 10 Things in Your Habitat

Felt like doing a meme today, so here's one I discovered from ysabetwordsmith.

List 10 things (animals, plants, etc.) that you see in your local habitat. If you don't have a yard, you can borrow a park or somesuch.

I wanted to fill this out because I used to live in a place where there wasn't much wildlife, but now they are quite common to come across.

1. Deer
   Nearly had a heart attack when I saw one for the first time. XD It was so sudden, and I only ever saw images of them before. I'm used to their presence now, thankfully.


2. Chipmunks
   Cute, but sadly they are a nuisance because they keep trying to swipe our chicken feed. u3u


3. Stream
   We have a little brook flowing next to our house. =)


4. Bears
   Luckily I don't see them too often, but they are still cute.


5. Ladybugs
   A rare sight where I used to live, but now they've become unwanted household guests during the winter. T3T


6. Woodpeckers
   It's so cool to see and hear one!


7. Bluejays
   Another pretty bird. One morning, there was a whole flock of them around our bird feeder.


8. Wild turkeys
   I love spotting these guys milling about.


9. Red cardinal
   I usually hear them before I see them, so it's fun to be on the lookout for their conspicuous color.


10. Woodchucks
    Chunky. Cuties.
