Today is mostly known as Pi Day because 3-14, but today also counts as MAR14... Maria Day! (Like how Mario has Mar10 as his day.)

To celebrate my favorite Sonic character, I'm posting some screenshots I have of her from my old Tomodachi Life save file, as well as a link to a fanfic I wrote of Hedgehog!Maria being the world's one and only Ultimate Life Form.

My favorite character is Maria Robotnik. She is Professor Gerald Robotnik's granddaughter and while it isn't mentioned directly in the games, I see her as Dr. Eggman's cousin. (EDIT: Kudos to Sonic Frontiers for shoehorning this detail in.)

I like her personality and design, simple as they are. I like that she's a Robotnik and that she's human, making her stand out amongst the mainly Mobian cast. I like how she's one of the only characters that our main hero Sonic has never met in person.

The only dislikes I have of her are things that aren't really her fault. It kind of sucks how my favorite character is a very minor one. Sometimes it's like she only exists just to give Shadow angst and motivation. She has very little official... anything, really. Even cameos are nonexistent. Thankfully, I can rely on fellow fans to supply me with things like art and merchandise of her.
